Delta 8 THC, or delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, is a minor cannabinoid found in about 0.1% of the hemp plant’s chemical composition. This cannabinoid results from aging delta 9 THC in the raw plant material, and also acts as a psychoactive cannabinoid that’s about 30% less intoxicating than its more popular sibling.
